As per the Financial and Investment Advisor . Impact  of Demonetization on Indian Economy in 2018 is as follows. Economic Survey after careful review of Demonetization which was announced in November 2016 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the cash-to-GDP ratio has stabilized. It suggests a return to equilibrium. The Economic Survey says that India's GDP is set to grow at 7.0 to 7.5 percent in 2018-19 . This is an increase from its prediction of 6.75 percent growth this fiscal year. The Economic Survey has cited exports and imports data to claim that the demonetisation effect was now over. It claims that re-acceleration of export growth to 13.6 percent in the third quarter of Financial Year 2018 and deceleration of import growth to 13.1 percent is in line with global trends. Modi Gifts AIIMS to Madurai; Temple City gets AIIMS

The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (17 December) approved the development of new All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) in the grand holy Tamil Sangam City, Madurai. Tamil Nadu AIIMS would come up at the Temple City Madurai at a cost of Rs 1,264 Crore at the Thopoor. AIIMS in Madurai "Setting up of new AIIMS would not only transform health education and training but also address the shortfall of health care professionals in the region," said in official statement.  Madurai AIIMS will add 100 undergraduate MBBS seats and 60 BSc Nursing seats and will have 15-20 Super Specialty departments,  the new institute will service around 1,500 outdoor patients on a daily basis.
