Dr Chandrasekaran is a Coimbatore based Professor, who is also an Investment & Financial advisor, Economist and Political Analyst. "The Budget has addressed concerns of farmers and the salaried class by providing relief to small and marginal farmers up to Rs 75000 crores and interest subvention up to 5% in the event of natural calamity" he said while referring to the government's move to address the farmers and agrarian crisis by providing Rs 6000/ Hectare every year.                                                                          This budget saw such sops like Annual pension of 6,000 will be given to the farmers who have land less than 2 hectares under the scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sammal Nidhi.
